Welcome to Brass Bell Farm

Sheep are our passion, and the perfect fit for our windswept island farm. From wool and wool products to milk and meat, we value sheeps’ versatility and beneficial presence in our pastures. While sheep are our focus, we also raise Highland cattle, Tamworth and Red Wattle pigs, Oberhasli goats, and a variety of poultry. Our lamb, mutton, pork, chicken and beef are available seasonally in our online Farm Store for local delivery or pick up, and our non-perishable items are also available for shipping. To be the first to know about product updates, restocks, events, offers and more, please subscribe to our monthly newsletter.

From our farm to your table, our products are small-batch and seasonally handcrafted. We offer heritage lamb, mutton, pork, beef and chicken by the cut, side or whole. Visit our online store or sign up for our newsletter to learn more about upcoming offerings and availability

We are well known for our dedication to the animals we raise and the land we steward. Our heritage breeds are carefully matched with the needs of the land, and we facilitate their beneficial impact through sustainable management practices.

Our Practices

Our Purpose

Brass Bell Farm is situated on a historical seaside sheep farm, one of the last of its kind in the area. With the continued disappearance of farms comes the disappearance of farmers and locally raised food. We are committed to preserving the land we farm, and the future of farming with it.

There’s no better way to elevate a meal than with quality ingredients. Whether it’s a weekly staple or an annual celebration, our heritage breed, pasture-raised meats, and chef-prepared foods bring the best of our farm to your table. Visit our online Farm Store and see what’s in stock.

Farm to Table…

East Friesian sheep and our seasonal micro dairy…

Dairy has been our passion since the very beginning, but it wasn’t until 2019 that we were introduced to sheep dairying. After years of milking cows and goats, we brought home our first two East Friesian ewes that spring. Fast forward to 2024 and the official beginning of our milking flock! We are in the process of obtaining our dairy license to begin milking our East Friesian sheep in the spring of 2025. While dairy will not be available directly from the farm, cheeses made with our sheep’s milk will be available late spring and summer. To learn more about dairy sheep and sheep dairying, our wool, raw fleeces, sheepskins and other products visit our ‘Sheep Dairy’ page or follow along on our social media.

Convenience without sacrificing quality is a core construct of our prepared foods line. We are delighted to partner with the talented folks at Mensch Kitchen to bring you a range of farmhouse staples. We use only Brass Bell Farm meat in these products, and accompanying ingredients are sourced from other local farms and flour mills. Enjoy a true farm to table meal, all you need to do is heat the oven!
